Thank you to everyone that helped in the cleanup, especially:
Watershed Specialist for Centre County Conservation District, Ann Donovan; ClearWater Conservancy of Central Pennsylvania, Inc.; John Glenn Sanitation Service; Rush Township; Andy Coleman’s Asphalt Paving; Sheetz of Philipsburg; Weis Markets; Pennsylvania American Water; Troop 48 B.S.A. of Osceola Mills; and all the friends of the Moshannon Creek Watershed Coalition that worked so hard.

This served as our base camp for the Earth Day Cleanup.

Large area of trash along old railroad bed above Route 970 outside of Osceola Mills.

Same area after some trash removal.

Backhoe donated by Coleman’s Asphalt Paving of Osceola Mills, operated for the day by volunteer Merle Timchak, also of Osceola Mills.

Marni having fun despite the fact that she is rather dirty from picking up trash.

Jerry Bush, a Troop 48 leader in blue poncho, helps Brian (Marni’s husband), in orange. How did he stay so clean and she got so dirty?

Ann Donovan, Watershed Specialist for Centre County Conservation District, pauses to enjoy some water.

The only dry place to be found at the trash cleanup.

Art Beveridge, MCWC President, does his part in the cleanup.
