Mail — Art Beveridge has been getting the mail. Jen Demchak said they we are paid up for a year, it was proposed that next year we change our address.

Old Business:

  • No word or updates on Grants
  • No word or updates on Blue Pipe Discharge
  • No word or updates about Trash Clean Up

New Business:

  • Trout Run Update; There will be no more sampling done – not enough rainfall. Jen D. said that there will the completion of the assessment will be in December. Also discussed were land and mapping problems. She will be calling again next week.
  • AMD Education Topics — Jen D. would like to schedule a public meeting possibly in January to go over the Trout Run Assessment. We should plan early to get the word out, or schedule a public meeting at a later date. It was decided that mid-February may be the best time.
  • Art Beveridge gave his ideas to the group about coming up with a guide for self-guided tours of the Watershed, this would include points of interest, success areas, photos of Cold Stream Chiller Seeps, maps and dots, aerial photos (Art to get with Joe Fox?).
  • Mike Malicki let the group know that the website was moved to a new server.
  • Art shared with the group that he attended a local planning meeting at the Harbor Inn in the past month. There were few attendees. — advocated getting coal mines running and make jobs, clean up the streams.

New Membership Application Time — Art renewed.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM. It was quick — probably due to the weather — hazardous snow conditions!
