The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance at 7:00 PM.

Adoption of the Agenda — Accepted as written

Adoption of Minutes — Both April and May minutes accepted as written.

Treasurer’s Report — No report.

Old Business:
Growing Greener Grant —Growing Greener may open again this fall

Other Grants — No news.

Trout Run — Waiting for a letter from PHMC (Pennsylvania Historic & Museum Commission) that approves the archaeological study that was done. Need to sign a Good Samaritan Act – permanent liability protection for MCWC. David Hamilton from OSM will be visiting the site to evaluate whether site can get a grant for 15% federal match money. Project will need to start next spring. Need to review contract with Alder Run Engineering for construction oversight.

Thank You Letter to Veolia for Dumpster (Spring Clean-UP) — Gayle put together a letter and it was sent.

Planning for Festival — Need to send another donation request letter to drilling companies, coal companies, gas companies, etc., municipalities, new businesses, and businesses near Morrisdale. Need to check with pool to see their progress. Schedule a meeting for July 14 at Art’s at 6:00 PM. Art will contact S. Inlow for the meeting.

Need space and electricity for the “Wood Mobile”. Need to work on layout for booths. Need to work on PowerPoint presentation. Fish and Boat Commission will attend.

Tax Audit — Dave will contact accountant regarding tax/audit. $2500 max to be spent on accounting. Need to check on admin money that might be available for this.

Recycling Container — Deposit – Need to check for recycling containers deposit for Clearfield County Solid Waste Authority.

Environmental Conservation Celebration/Watershed Picnic — No news

New Membership Application Time — No new members
