Osceola Mills Swimming Pool Recreation Area
Osceola Mills turned 150! The event was celebrated in conjunction with the third annual Moshannon Creek Watershed Festival on Sunday, August 23, 2009, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Osceola Mills Recreation Park.
The Moshannon Creek Watershed Festival included environmental displays, information about the activities and recently completed projects of the Moshannon Creek Watershed Coalition, an exhibit by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and water-related activities such as macroinvertebrate identification and water testing.
Activities included:
- FREE Live music by two bands, Generation Z and Randy Clark and The Renegade Ride
- FREE admission to the Clear-Centre Pool for the afternoon
- The Wagon Train (old-fashioned horse-drawn wagons)
- Activities for the children
- Games and Prizes
Avariety of foods was for sale from local vendors.
